“RAINY DAY” - Final Animation

Here’s Tom. An ordinary boy in your ordinary life. I had a much more adventurous story in mind, but it was way too long for a 20 second animation, so here’s something a little more simple, short & sweet :)

Done on Bristol. I really love working with pen inks. It’s a really fun medium. Accompanied comic page to be posted.

PORTFOLIO 2011

STAGE 1 of Character in its Environment

Mildly inspired by a voodoo doll I made for a theater production back in high school.

Finding out the design for this project was a cinch. At first, I made her skinny as heck. I found it looked awkward because I constantly make my proportions skinnier than they should. I used my sister as a model, took a picture, printed it out in the right size and traced basic shape of the body on tracing paper with pink. Now to find what environment she’ll be in…
